Games - Strike Force Heroes

 Hey everybody,

Todays games post is on Strike Force Heroes. As you might have heard Strike Force Heroes 2 came out and that is awesome, so thats why I decided to do this. Strike Force Heroes is a third person shooter game with 4 different classes with a lot of weapons. There are campaign missions and challenge missions and both require a certain amount of skill so lets get on with it...

Campaign:

Globex Leader
In the campaign the strike force hero squad (you) are battling it out against globex a bad organisation which is trying to take over the world. So the whole idea of the game is that the strike force heroes is trying to stop Globex from trying to nuke the entire country to get rid of the infection. The strike force heroes want to stop the nuke from blowing up the country but the nuke is airbourne before they can stop it. Now they have to replace the warhead with the cure so the nuke will cure every infected person instead of killing them.

Challenge:

The challenges are quite tricky (of course they are the challenge)!  There are various ones like Man With the Golden Gun and Hide and Seek and they are all fun but hard. Try to play a little bit of the Quick Match mode to level up before you attempt challenge mode. Even Quick Match levels you up.

Quick Match:

Is a fun way to level your soldier up to the next level or just do it if you are bored. There are a lot of different mods as such lke Sky9 where the physics are exaggerate and Bottomless clip where you don't have to reload but my favourite is party time which is really fun. Everytime you spawn you get a different weapon set. Not as in assassin with the Nine Iron and the Glock no.. It is comepletely random like the assassin with the defrieder and the cyclone.

Classes:

In this game there are four classes each with unique primary weapons. Secondary weapons are balance in the entire game. Each class has two types of primary weapons and I will tell you what they are and how they work...

   Medic

Medic has two types of weapons: Assault rifles and Magnums.

The medic uses assault rifles to get rounds into the air to damage enemies. Assault rifles are much more effective once you start upgrading them. Once you get to the dragon you have to acctually click the mouse to let one bullet go it is not hold down triggered. I think the creators put this in to have game balance otherwise medic would easily be the most powerful class.

The medic uses magnums to damage enemies a lot from relatively safe distances. The magnums at the start require a more number of shots to kill people but once you start unlocking more then it is better. Magnums only take about 2 - 3 shots to kill a person but if you get headshots consistently then you can kill some one in 1 - 3 shots.

Also medic has really good killstreaks and abilities. He can increase the regeneration of the team or call an attack chopper and his abilities allow him to do one less kill to activiate a killstreak and allow him to revive to 50% health when he is low health.

What weapon I prefer: Magnum!!!!!

  Assassin

The assassin has melee weapons and sniper rifles in his arsenal

Melee weapons do high damage but have very short range. You need to think of tactics to surprise your enemy and into killing them. Melee weapons are good for people who can dodge bullets and rockets. They are effective for close range combat but it is much wiser to get your secondary out and run around.

Then you have your sniper rifle which is really powerful. The first two sniper rifles (scout and the barrett) are the worst and I can't even play properly with them. Try using the more advanced sniper rifles like the jackal and the dragunov but until then my advice is to practice with the scout or the barrett but don't use it for missions. The AWP is a little bit overpowered and the crossbow is pretty bad so the developers should fix that but the crossbow has great headshot damage so that's cool.

The assasin has ok killstreaks but good abilities like shadow blend and blur. These can really save your life too. Assasin has the ability called Full Radar but I think it is pretty much useless unless playing the ninja challenge mission.

What weapon do I prefer: Sniper Rifles obviously.

  Commando
The commando uses two types of weapons: automatics and rocket launchers.

The rocket launchers do heavy explosive damage which is great but it takes a long time to reload and you might miss so that will be bad. The later rocket launcher upgrades like the stinger and the commando are good because of there various capabilities. Try to practice your aim because this really helps.

Automatics are very fast at dealing with people who are staying relatively still. If there is a person jumping around like a freakshow then you should pull out your secondary because the automatic has bullet spread meaning a lot of your ammo will go waste. If you have a lot of ammo loaded like the mini gun then you can go crazy shooting and manage to get a shot on people.

Commando has a variety of abilities like flame resistance and ammo feed which I think is a little overpowered especially on the OICW. The commando has good killstreaks like airstrike and bouncing betty (the bouncing betty can stack so do not be afraid to activate it).

What weapon do I prefer: Automatics

  Tank

The tank has two weapons types to use (sort of). It has shotguns and shields (shields cannot attack).

Shields protect you from a variety of projectiles and have a chance to reflect. Unfortunately you are only restricted to you secondary weapons. This can be good if you have a high power secondary like the cyclone but it cannot give you the shotgun option. Medic and assasin are the most likely to kill you.

Shotguns are used for getting damage onto people but it has a very low range and bad accuracy. Most shotguns can kill any class in two meat shots but it takes around three mid - range shots to defeat a class but four for a tank.

The tank's powerups are awesome! I personally like adrenaline since it is more than a medic's regeneration and you can go smash people up sooner.

Which weapon do I prefer: shotguns.

Skins:
Rebel skin: appears in the mission rebels and is on the red team for CTF(capture the flag or intelligence) and TD(team deathmatch).
Elite skin: appears in Norris, Chuck mission and in the Self Experiments mission.
Strike Force Heroes skin: appears in all the campaign missions; default skin.
Military police skin: Appears in double agent mission and is on blue team for CTF and TD.

Globex Skin: Appears for all the mission which include 'Globex' and in the hide and seek mission.

Loadout Screen:

Here is the Loadout Screen where you can upgrade your weapons, killstreaks and skills. You can see in the top left there is the class icons starting with medic, assassin, commando and tank. Each loadout screen will give detailed stats on the character and the weapons qualities and damage.
